What was once perceived as a television station, Knowledge has since transformed into a curator of national and international stories that reach audiences through TV, web and mobile. Through the visionary leadership of Knowledge Network’s CEO, Rudy Buttignol, and the Knowledge team, it has become one of the leading public broadcasters in Canada.
When Kaldor was brought on board to help tell the story of their ambitions with our work on a brand platform and marketing plan, it was a rare opportunity for us to tell the brand story of a storyteller. We created an enduring brand platform that combined their vision for the future, with the reality of their current programming and services. This brand story influenced the development of eight marketing concepts that are currently bringing this new brand story to audiences across mediums. The first of these concepts allowed us to stay engaged with Knowledge beyond the initial project: writing a speech for the CEO to take on the road over the next 18 months to speak to communities large and small across BC on the value of Knowledge Network. The Knowledge team and their audiences have applauded our new approach to telling the organization’s story.
