ICASC

Challenge: A partnership between Simon Fraser University (SFU) and Judith Marcuse Projects, ICASC was created to become the first university centre in North America that integrates university and community engagement in art and social change. In 2007, Kaldor was hired to brand the organization through an identity that honours its activist spirit.

Our Thinking: Because ICASC has no predecessor in the academic community, Kaldor understood that establishing credibility would be the first task in creating a suitable ICASC identity. With this in mind, we designed a logo that utilizes traditional elements but is executed in a manner that communicates individuality, passion, collaboration and activism, all traits of the ICASC brand. The website and capital campaign brochure build upon these traits.

Results: The ICASC marketing and communications materials have been presented to the public and have given ICASC the tools needed to generate recognition, interest and support from both the academic and public community.
